Intel Microelectronic Philippines advanced its 1:1 e-Learning project with the delivery of 50 units of Intel-powered classmate PCs to the Muntinlupa Elementary School. Muntinlupa is one of two public schools identified by the Department of Education (DepEd) to receive Intel-powered classmate PCs, Intel’s specially designed laptop for students in graqdes Kindergarten through 12.
Other groups supporting this intiative are Gearing Up Internet Literacy and Access for Students (GILAS), which is providing connectivity through its telco members, and the Foundation for IT Education and Development (FIT-ED), which will train public school teachers on how to use PCs and integrate technology into the curriculum unser the Intel Teach program.
