Toshiba Recalls 10,000 More Sony Batteries

Toshiba has announced it has recalled 10,000 Sony-made lithium-ion battery packs worldwide due to concerns they may overheat, posing a fire risk.

Google Pledges $4.6 billion For Broadband

Google announced that should the Federal Communications Commission adopt a framework requiring greater competition and consumer choice, Google intends to participate in the federal government’s upcoming auction of wireless spectrum in the 700 megahertz (MHz) band.
