Microsoft announced that its first service pack for its Windows Vista operating system will be released early 2008 with the company shipping a beta to 10,000 to 15,000 testers.
The update will include operating system updates, bug fixes, and enhancements to improve performance, reliability and application compatibility of Vista.

EarthLink, Inc. announced a corporate restructuring plan. This plan will reduce operating costs across the company. The restructuring will begin immediately and be completed by the end of the year.
