Adobe Systems Inc announced that its quarterly profits had more than doubled on the robust sales of recently upgraded products. Adobe reported its net income in the three months ended August 31 jumped 117% to $205.2 million, or $0.34 per share, from $94.4 million, or $0.16 per share, in the year-ago quarter.
Adobe Systems’ president and chief operating officer Shantanu Narayen said the company’s results for the quarter were extraordinary and the company can continue to achieve double-digit growth in the forthcoming years as long as the economy remains healthy.
