SAP may sell TomorrowNow

Posted by: ADMIN on: November 27, 2007

Senior managers of SAP’s TomorrowNow third party ERP support subsidiary, including the CEO, have resigned, and SAP is now “considering several options for the future of the business, including possible sale”.

TomorrowNow CEO Andrew Nelson and several members of his senior management team are leaving the company following SAP’s admission of inappropriate downloads of Oracle intellectual property.

Oracle slapped SAP with a lawsuit alleging that TomorrowNow performed “corporate theft on a grand scale” in downloading software from Oracle on behalf of TN’s customers.

Acquired by SAP in 2005, TN provides support services for business software from PeopleSoft, JD Edwards, and Siebel — three entities that have been bought by Oracle over the past few years — as well as for Baan.
