Sun Microsystems has now announced that they would offer support for the OpenOffice.org productivity software suite.  The company said that they are impressed by the adoption of this open source office suite and they want to help out the project by offering support.

Support would cost starting at US$20 per user per year. This service is aimed at companies that distribute OpenOffice.org.
