Symantec announced that they are soon going to make available the test edition of their upcoming Norton 360 Version 2 release.

Symantec said that the updated version would include new Web security and identity-theft protection features.  It will also come with a “smart firewall” that will use behavior-based analysis techniques to identify emerging threats.

The new version would also be able to back up data to new types of devices such as iPods or Blu-ray drives.
