Acer has launched an ultraportable consumer notebook – Acer Aspire 2920 for the Indian market.

The 2920 uses the latest Intel Core2 Duo mobile processor T9300, supporting Mobile Intel GM965 Express chipset and Intel Wireless WiFi Link network solution and has a 160 GB HDD. With a WXGA Acer CrystalBrite TFT LCD display and system memory of 2GB RAM.

The Aspire 2920 comes with an embedded DVD writer, Acer CrystalBrite technology and Dolby Certified Sound System, which offers 7.1-channel surround sound. It supports a dual independent display and features the Acer Video Conference solution with Acer CrystalEye webcam.

The laptop is being offered with a choice of Linux and the Vista Home Premium OS.
