Electronic Arts launched a tender offer for all outstanding shares of rival Take-Two Interactive Software worth U.S.$ 2 billion.

Microsoft says it has no plans to add a Blu-ray drive on to the Xbox 360.
The company denies that they are in talks with Sony or the Blu-ray Association to adopt Blu-ray into the Xbox.

Even before the release of its iPhone Firmware 2.0, a team has allegedly jailbroken the new iPhone firmware that ships with the recently released SDK version 1.2, which will be apparently released to the public as 2.0.
The group managed to modify it to run applications not signed by Apple.
