Trend Micro has confirmed that their website was attacked by hackers who were aiming to place malicious content on it.
The attack was part of the global attack which was targeted at more than 20,000 Web pages as per the report by another security software maker McAfee.

Philip Rosedale, founder and chief executive of «Second Life» creator Linden Lab, is stepping down and will become chairman once a replacement is found.
“My passion for ‘Second Life’ is undiminished, and this appointment will enable me to be more closely involved in the evolution of the company’s products” Rosedale said in a statement.

Microsoft and Yahoo officials have met for the first time after Microsoft announced their $44.6 billion bid for the Internet media company.

Paramount Pictures has announced that they are now collaborating with FanRocket to launch the VooZoo application on the Facebook social networking service.
This application would allow the members of the service to see and share clips from thousands of its movies.
Paramount aims to benefit from this service by marketing DVDs of the movies through the clippings.
