Adobe Systems Incorporated announced that Microsoft has licensed Adobe Flash Lite software, Adobe’s award-winning Flash Player runtime specifically designed for mobile devices, to enable web browsing of Flash Player compatible content within the Internet Explorer Mobile browser in future versions of Microsoft Windows Mobile phones.

Search engine industry giant Google recently announced that they had completed the acquisition of DoubleClick.
Google revealed that the deal cost them around $3.24 billion.
The deal was opposed by Google rivals including Microsoft but passed all required approvals.

MySpace has announced the launch of their applications gallery in testing phase.
This service would allow the members of the network to install applications developed by third party developers.
The testing phase would enable the users to check out the functionality of the service and report any bugs.

Google has announced the web based edition of Google Sky application which can now be accessed straight from the web browser.
Google said in a statement that the release brings the universe to every browser and makes Sky accessible to just about anyone with an Internet connection — from school children to professional astronomers — in 26 different languages.

Oracle announced they have now certified a number of Nokia products as interoperable with Oracle’s CRM and database software. This would help Nokia as they would be able to market their phones as potential replacements for computers.
Oracle said that they have validated Nokia’s Intellisync Device Management with Oracle’s Siebel CRM software.
