NEO recently launched the first locally Intel-Powered Netbook PC called the NEO eXplore.
NEO xplore PCs are being sold at PHP 16,999.00 ($425). It comes with 900Mhz Intel Celeron M Processor, 7-inch display screen, 512MB to 1GB memory, and 30GB of hard disk storage. It also sports a water-resistant keyboard.

Creative Labs said that rival hardware manufacturer Asus is misleading its customers by claiming that new drivers for Asus sound cards support EAX, a set of environmental enhancements for sound in games.

OpenOffice is now in version 2.4 and it is available as a free download for Windows, Linux, and Mac OS X.
The developers said that this update is mostly an incremental upgrade with small feature updates in the applications present in this office productivity suite.
