Pictures of Paris Hilton have been leaked from her private Facebook account after holes in Facebook’s recent security upgrade were exploited.
A computer technician successfully went around Facebook’s privacy protection after finding flaws in the update, which was meant to give users greater control over who can see their details.

Microsoft warns of critical Word bug

Microsoft has issued an advisory for a critical vulnerability in Microsoft Word that could lead to damaging attacks.  No official fix is available.
Microsoft said the vulnerability lies mainly within Microsoft’s Jet Database Engine, which is used in the company’s professional software applications like Access and Visual Basic.

Adobe Systems post 52 percent improvement in profits

Adobe posted profits that rose 52 percent compared to the same period in the previous year.
In the most recent quarter, Adobe posted a profit of $219.4 million. This is major improvement from profits of $143.9 million, or 24 cents a share, in the same period a year earlier.
