Apple said that the iPhone 3G will go on sale in 20 more countries on 22 August 2008. The announcement was made during their quarterly financial call with investors.

Apple did not specify which countries would be added to the iPhone’s reach come August 22. Apple’s iPhone page lists 50 countries under a Coming Soon header that includes nations in Africa, Asia, Central and South America, and Europe.

In Asia, the list are countries like the Philippines, Macau, Singapore and India.
