Palm to introduce Nova mobile platform

Palm is soon going to introduce its newest mobile operating system named Nova.
Palm said the new platform would help them overcome the challenge posed by bigger players like Research in Motion Blackberry, Apple iPhone, Google Android and Windows Mobile.

Yahoo is all set to make available a new edition of their browser toolbar which would feature some major enhancements.
The new edition of Yahoo toolbar would let the user access third party services without leaving the page they are on.

Sony is working on a new generation of Walkman devices that would feature a touchscreen interface.
The new edition of Walkman media player may be available in two editions: 16 and 32GB and may include Wi-Fi support.

Apple issues 10.5.6 Mac OS X update

Apple has released the Mac OS X 10.5.6 update, closing 21 holes in the operating system. The security content notes for 10.5.6 lists all the issues resolved including fixes for the Adobe Flash Player Plug-in.

Asus to offer Celeron-based Eee Box

ASUS plans to introduce a version of its Eee Box nettop computer that is powered by an Intel Celeron CPU rather than the current Intel Atom. The move will make the new Eee Box more affordable.

Nokia Announces HSPA 3G USB Modem

Nokia recently announced that the company will be launching their own HSPA 3G USB Modem called internet sticks.
The new product rumored to be named CS-10 will work on the HSPA 3G Network and should have download speeds in excess of 7 Mbps. It will be sold mostly through carriers and bundled with services.

Microsoft Releases an App for the iPhone

Microsoft launched an application for the iPhone called Seadragon Mobile.
The application is an image-browsing application, which allows users to to zoom in and out of web photos to form an almost 3-D image. Other iPhone applications are also in development from Microsoft.

Gmail now offers PDF Viewer

Google Gmail is now supporting viewing PDF files without actually opening them in a PDF reader.
Clicking view quickly opens the PDF inside the browser, with graphics displayed and formatting retained.

New Cyberzone opens at SM Annex
