Media company News Corp. announced that their President and Chief Operating Officer Peter Chernin is leaving the company. He has been with the company for the last 12 years.

In a statement, Chernin said that he is confident that the current management at the company is fully capable of running the company. Chernin’s contract ends on June 30.
