Microsoft has officially launched an integrated online product called Business Productivity Online Suite (BPOS) for the European and Asian market,

The Business Productivity Online Suite includes Exchange for email, SharePoint, Office Communications Online and Office Live Meeting.

Intel introduced four new specialized Intel Atom processors in the Z500 series for both commercial and industrial line of infotainment embedded devices – Z510, Z510P, Z530 and Z530P. These new chips are designed to use less power, which should help with battery life.

The new Atom chips that will go into devices such as entertainment systems for cars, videoconferencing devices, robots and interactive kiosks.

Intel also signed a deal with Taiwan Semiconductor Manufacturing Co. for manufacturing some Intel Atom chips.

Nokia has admitted some glitches during the launch of its 5800 XpressMusic touchscreen handset and has halted distribution in the United States.

Customers have been returning the Nokia 5800 XpressMusic phones due to problems with the speakers and 3G connectivity. Nokia says the problems are specific to North America.

Fortune Magazine has launched their latest list of the World’s Most Admired Companies. Apple landed firt on the list.

Google landed fourth, General Electric 9th, Microsoft 10th, IBM 17th, 3M 18th, Hewlett-Packard 30th, Cisco Systems 31st, Intel 36th, Sony 39th, Nokia 42nd, At&T 48th, Accenture 49th and Samsung 50th.

Asus showed a prototype for its upcoming dual-screen laptop. The upcoming dual screen laptop features a touch-sensitive display thus allowing the data to be entered without keyboard.

The two touchscreens of the new laptop will provide the flexibility to users for using it in different scenarios. The new prototype announced can also be used as a conventional laptop, an e-book reader, or as a multimedia hub.
