SAP Philippines announced that ChinaTrust (Philippines) Commercial Bank Corporation, a subsidiary of Chinatrust Commercial Bank has licensed SAP Customer Relationship Management (CRM) solution to improve its customer management processes and better handle customer inquiries, minimize customer complaints and better utilize the bank’s live agent.

Chinatrust Philippines plans to increase its sales and service quality performance while minimizing operating expense to retain its position in gthe global financial community.

“We chose SAP as our solution provider because of the functional features of its Business Communications Management (BCM) and CRM software. We know we are getting one solution that will seamlessly integrate with our existing system, from Interactive Voice Recognition System to Customer Service Agent Integration,” said Tony Robles, EVP and Head of Retail Banking Group.

STI is moving to a new home

Starting March 16, 2009, the STI headquarters will be located in a bigger and better building at the STI Academic Center, University Parkway Drive, Fort Bonifacio Global City Taguig.

World’s leading mobile phone manufacturer Nokia has launched three new music phones. These three new models are: Nokia 5730, Nokia 5330, Nokia 5030.

The Nokia 5030 features an FM radio with an internal antenna, which negates the need for a headset as well as side-mounted channel selection keys.

The Nokia 5730 XpressMusic features a full QWERTY keyboard, N-Gage gaming capability, and direct access to Internet services including Facebook.

The Nokia 5330 XpressMusic also offers direct access to services such as Facebook and MySpace, and boasts more than 26 hours of playback time on one charge.

Nielsen Online has reported that social networking has overtaken email to become the fourth most popular online product.

“Social networking has become a fundamental part of the global online experience. While two-thirds of the global online population already accesses member community sites, their vigorous adoption… show[s] no signs of slowing. Social networking will continue to alter not just the global online landscape, but the consumer experience at large.”

This is great news for web services like Facebook and MySpace which dominates this segment of the market. Facebook had recently claimed that their network has an active user base of 150 million users and almost half of them visit the service on a daily basis.
