Power Mac Center recently kicked-off its month long celebration for their 15th year anniversary.

“August 26, 1994, we opened the first Apple retail store in Manila. SM invited us to put up a store in SM Megamall, we grabbed the opportunity right away” shared Lawrence Sison, Chief Executive Officer of Power Mac Center. “With God’s grace, our former employers even gave us the permission and even agreed to supply us with Apple products. After a couple of years, Apple appointed Power Mac Center as one of their direct partner. And as they all say, the rest is history” said Sison.

Power Mac Center has brought the Apple brand to a wider breadth of customers, ranging from the desktop publishing business to retail. Power Mac Center offers the latest Apple products, as well as other accessories to complement the total Apple experience. Further complementing the consumer’s technology experience is a top-notch line of audio supplementary products from Bose, JBL, Shure, Sennheiser and Philips among others.

Currently, Power Mac Center has eight outlets to date namely SM City Cyberzone North Edsa, Trinoma, SM City Marikina, SM Megamall, Greenbelt 3, Powerplant Mall, SM Mall of Asia and Festival Mall.

Epson Philippines recently demonstrated their Durabrite Ultra ink technology to the test by bringing a print-out of their latest printers inside a giant aquarium during a product launch at the Manila Ocean Park.

The Epson Durabrite Ink Technology utilized in combination with the Micro Piezo print head produces precise and superior results in inkjet printers. During the same event, Epson Philippines also launches its latest range of printers, the Epson Stylus TX111, Epson Stylus TX210, Epson Stylus TX550W and Epson Stylus Photo T60 which will allow users to take advantage of high-performance digital printing and imaging.

The printers are well-known for their affordability and high-performance and it comes with a one compact chassis, which provides the functionalities of scanning, printing and copying.

SAP World Tour 2009 in Manila

SAP AP Japan held their World Tour 2009 in Manila last July 30. The event attracted at least 200 customers from a variety of industries.

One of the highlights of the SAP World Tour is the Asia Leadership Dialogue, which features a keynote address and discussion about “Leadership in a New Asia” to be done by Rajat M. Nag, Managing Director General of the Asian Development Bank.

The Asian Leadership Dialogue in Manila is a presented in partnership with Platinum Circle. Key SAP customers that will act as event resource include PLDT, San Miguel Corporation, Victorias Milling Co., Mariwasa-Siam Ceramics, Inc., Aboitiz Construction Group, Inc.
