Microsoft Philippines announced it is embarking on a campaign called “I’m An Explorer” to encourage individuals to bring out their inner explorer and discover new possibilities with the help of technology.

Microsoft also launched the “I’m An Explorer Summer Blog Contest”, which is open to fans of the Windows 7 Facebook fan page who are taking on new and interesting activities or projects this summer. Fans must blog about a particular challenge that they are taking on, including their thoughts, mishaps, and successful experiences, from May 1 to June 1, 2010, and submit the link to their blog entries via e-mail to iamanexplorer@live.com, with the subject “IE8 Summer Blog Contest”. Fans can also promote their entries through the Windows 7 Facebook fan page wall. The winner will receive a Windows 7-powered netbook from Microsoft.
