SAP Reveals Solutions and Strategies to Drive Customer Business Growth at SAP World Tour 2010 in the Philippines

SAP customers, partners and representatives came together at the SAP® APJ World Tour 2010 in Pasig City to hear how business software applications from SAP AG helps businesses run better. The SAP World Tour takes place in more than 80 cities in over 50 countries in Europe, Asia, Latin America and North America.

In Asia Pacific Japan, the World Tour covers 23 markets across the region, starting in Kuala Lumpur, Malaysia on July 8 and finishing in Shenzen, China on October 15. More than 400 participants attended the Philippines’ leg of the Tour.

“Philippine companies are now focusing on business growth, innovation and speed. We are announcing today the technologies that allow businesses to connect with suppliers, serve customers and make financial decisions anytime, anywhere and from any device,” said Jennie S. Ligones, Country Manager, SAP Philippines. “This year the SAP World Tour features technologies which customers can adopt at their own pace, without disruption, giving them the edge on their competition by enabling their own corporate strategies.” she added.

The event is designed to enable dialogue between influencers, customers and prospects – along with Partners and other members of the SAP ecosystem. Participants learned how the SAP® solution portfolio can help companies evolve their IT landscapes – giving them a better view on how driving their business forward. This year’s event focused on the following topics:
- How customers can lead their industries as Best-Run businesses
- Extending business software availability – On-premise, On-demand and On-device
- Ensuring customers adopt innovation at their own pace
- Facilitating new ways of working at the office through business insight and mobile devices
- How the industry is being revolutionized with new developments such as in-memory computing and co-innovation with partners

Besides these, Krish Datta, President of SAP South East Asia, also elaborated on SAP’s product strategy makes it easier for people at the office or in the field to work more efficiently and use business insight more effectively, and at the same time, helping companies of all sizes grow profitably and sustainably.
