Canon honors partners with Night of Delight

Night of Delight was a grand event hosted by Canon held last night at the Harbor Tent, Sofitel Philippine Plaza to mark its 15 years in the Philippines. The exclusive guests included friends and partners from the media, dealers, sponsors and other companies, organizations and individuals who have been instrumental in Canon’s success as the digital imaging leader over the years.

Canon campaign helps firms shift to multifunction printers

Canon Marketing Philippines, Inc. (CMPI) launches its Color Campaign with an introduction of a wide array of color printers to different business sectors of the country.

CMPI business imaging systems (BIS) director Jojo Bolima said the campaign is in line with the migration of consumers from monochrome to multifunction color printers in the past two years.

Canon Philippines President and CEO Ramon Arteficio retires

Mr. Ramon Arteficio will step down as Canon Marketing Philippines President and CEO by the end of 2009 due to the company’s retirement policy. Mr. Arteficio’s term was actually extended by one year. The well-loved President said he wanted to retire to allow for a new generation of leadership to step forward.

In his place, Mr. Allan Chng (pronounced as “Chung”) will take over the helm of Canon Philippines starting January 2010.
