IBM said it is no longer interested in acquiring Sun Microsystems “at any price”. Sun was reportedly to have approached IBM in an effort to reopen stalled talks, going as far to say it was flexible on price.

However, IBM said it was no longer interested in the deal. A deal that was reported to be worth $7 billion. Sources said Sun’s structured contracts and change of control clauses could be no reason why IBM has turn away from the deal.

Sun is now looking for new buyers.
