HP reaffirms commitment to Philippine market

Despite the reported economic slowdown, HP Philippines reaffirmed its strong commitment to the Philippine market. According to NG Tiang Chong (TC), Vice President (Personal Systems Group) South East Asia and Taiwan (SEAT) of HP, Philippines is a very important market for HP and there’s still a lot of room for growth in this region.

“We will continue to expand our product line to address the needs of the Philippine market. You will soon see our new All-in-one products, additional models for the HP mini-note line and more.” said TC.

TC added that the demand for thin client PCs will increase due to various concerns like security, cost and green computing, especially with the increasing popularity and adoption of virtualization.

HP Philippines Personal Systems Group general manager Bernadette Nacario for her part said that the continued growth of HP Philippines can be attributed to the company’s innovative products, focus, and commitment to help its customers achieved their success.

Research firms IDC and Gartner both reported that HP maintained its position as the world’s largest PC maker, followerd by Dell, Acer and Lenovo.
