Samsung unveils LED Full HD TVs

Samsung has announced its new televisions the B7000 and B6000 series flat-panel LED high definition screens. These cutting-edge TVs use LEDs as their primary light source, rather than traditional Cold Cathode Fluorescent Lamps (CCFL). By using LEDs, the entire line is highlighted by superior contrast ratios and color detail, ultra-thin and wall-friendly depths and substantial decreases in energy consumption.

The Samsung B7000 and B6000 Series also incorporate a wide selection of state-of-the-art picture quality enhancements and networking features for an optimal home entertainment experience, whether viewing TV shows, movies, playing video games or accessing an expansive range of multimedia from portable devices, PCs and the Internet.

Beyond online entertainment, Samsung’s LED HDTVs can also connect to a variety of other devices and content with ease. Included USB ports make viewing videos and photos from a camcorder, playing music from a media player or accessing multimedia files from a portable drive simple.

Benefits of using LEDs include ultra-high contrast ratios (1,000,000:1 and above), slim depths (less than 1.2 inches) that allow for more artful designs, plus increased energy savings, helping earn the TVs a coveted Eco-label mark from the European Union.

The LED HDTVs also include an optimized energy savings mode that adjusts the backlight and picture quality while continuing to produce smoother, more natural images.
