Samsung unveils Pixon12

Samsung announced their first touchscreen phone with a 3.1-inch screen and a 12-megapixel camera – the Samsung Pixon12 M8910.

The new Pixon12 features a 3.1 AMOLED touchscreen display and a 12 Megapixel autofocus camera equipped with Xenon and power LED flash, 28mm wide angle lens, touch-focus and “Smart Auto.” The camera can also record 720 x 480 pixel videos at 30 frames per second. With HSPA and the built-in Wi-Fi, users can instantly upload photos and vids to social networking websites like Facebook, MySpace, Flickr, Photobucket, Picasa and Friendster.

The Samsung Pixon12 can also shoot video at a 720 x 480 resolution at 30fps, it comes with 150MB of built in memory and the option to upgrade to 16GB via a microSD card slot.

The connectivity of the phone includes GRPS, Edge and HSUPA; and it boasts of an FM radio and GPS mapping.
