Nokia unveiled three new handsets, including touch-screen model 5530 Xpressmusic

Nokia announced the Nokia E72 phone, touchscreen Nokia 5530 XpressMusic and Nokia 3710 fold clamshell phones were announced.

The Nokia E72 offers a new optical navigation key for better scrolling, 5-megapixel camera, 3.5mm audio jack, Instant Messaging out-of-box (including GTalk) as well as faster Internet up- and downlink speeds. The Nokia E72 will also include A-GPS and compass with integrated Maps, active noise cancellation and a torch can be activated with a single press of the spacebar key.

The Nokia 3710 fold boasts a 3.2-megapixel camera, GPS with Nokia Maps, and a microSD memory slot supporting up to 8GB cards.

The Nokia 5530 XpressMusic has a stainless steel frame finish and comes in five colors. The phone is claimed to deliver up to 27 hours of music playback time. Social media sites such as YouTube and Facebook can be accessed through the phone’s 2.9-inch widescreen display. The Nokia 5530 supports GSM/EDGE networks and also offers access to Internet services via Wi-Fi.
