Nokia unveils Sports Tracker GPS service

Nokia has launched Sports Tracker, a new GPS service for mobile phones that allows amateur runners, cyclists and walkers to measure the exact distance, route, time and altitude of their training sessions and races.

The Nokia Sports Tracker can be downloaded to selected Nokia handsets where it will record data to help fitness enthusiasts measure their performance.

Devices with a build-in GPS chip are the Nokia N82, N95 and N95 8GB, 5800, and the soon to be released N97.
