Greenpeace International has issued the latest edition of its Guide to Greener Electronics, rating Nokia as the best achiever of environmental practices.

Nokia attained the same number of ‘points’ as the previous quarter for activities such as its voluntary take-back programme, which provides 5000 global collection points for end of life mobile phones.

Samsung remained in second position for its commitment to reduce absolute emissions, while Sony Ericsson, LG Electronics and Toshiba all moved up two places for providing energy efficient products.
