Sony Ericsson officially launches Xperia X2

Posted: September 3, 2009 in Tech

Sony Ericsson has just announced the Xperia X2, its second high-end smartphone running Windows Mobile. This will have a WVGA display, sliding keyboard, 8.1 MPx camera, mobile broadband, and much more.

Like all Windows Mobile-based smartphones, it will come with a suite of productivity and entertainment software. This includes push email with Microsoft Exchange.

In addition, a TV-out port will let users hook this smartphone up to a much larger display, and built-in stereo speakers will make headphones less necessary.

The X2 will include a microSDHC card slot for holding up to 32 gigabytes of music and video.
