Facebook, Twitter, Adobe and iPhone Apps – 2010’s Top Security Threat

According to a recent McAfee report, the year 2010 will witness Adobe surpassing Microsoft as the primary target for hackers and virus writers.

McAfee also predict an increase in the severity and density of attacks aimed at users who frequent social networking sites such as Facebook and Twitter. They also mention that banking based Trojans will step up a gear and become more deadly and possibly even more sophisicated.

The security firm also predict that botnets, the main source of cyberattacks are likely to move towards a more ‘peer to peer’ based structure that will be much more difficult to stop.
