Tiger Machinery and Industrial Corporation today announced that it has adopted SAP Business One, a single integrated business management application for small businesses, in an effort to streamline its business operation and processes.

An ISO-certified company, Tiger Machinery is working with SAP implementation partner ObTech Asia Pacific to shift from manual to automated processes. Tiger Machinery decided on SAP Business One as it allows the Company to integrate all its core business functions – including financials, sales, customer relationship management, inventory, and operations. “We chose the SAP application and ObTech Asia Pacific on the basis of user friendliness, customer reference, and support and pricing,” says Michael Ang, President of Tiger Machinery.

Tiger Machinery will also be deploying an add-on application to help it with project costing. The application, specially customized by ObTech Asia Pacific, is designed to help users better manage projects, calculate project costs, and generate real-time reports.

“The project costing add-on helps our staff assess project costs more accurately. Generally, it also helps make life easier for our employees as they will be able to manage projects more efficiently,” Ang adds.

SAP Business One is an affordable small business management application that best fits small and medium sized enterprises (SMEs), like Tiger Machinery, that have outgrown their legacy systems and are looking for a single integrated application that is quick to install, easy to use, simple to maintain and allows for management of the entire business.

“Companies need to be agile especially in today’s new reality,” says Jennie Ligones, Country Manager, SAP Philippines. “This is particularly true for SMEs as they need to differentiate themselves against growing competition, maintain appropriate growth in changing environments.”
