Dell officially announces new Philippine GMs

Dell recognized that the large enterprise, home and mid-size business market were separate segments that requires unique approaches. That is why Dell recently implemented a segmentation strategy in its Philippines subsidiary to address the needs of each market.

Varinderjit Singh, managing director, South Asia Developing Markets (SADMG) announced the recent appointment of Ricky Benipayo Lopez as country manager, Large Enterprise and Public Sector (LE/Pub) and Christopher “Chris” Papa as country manager, Small and Medium Business (SMB) for Dell’s office in the Philippines. Karen Lindy Gonzales is the country manager for consumer sales and marketing.

Ricky is a 17 year I.T. veteran with a degree in Bachelor of Science in Computer Science in De La Salle University. Before joining Dell in 2007, Ricky work with Microsoft, Informix and Oracle.

Chris on the other hand started with Hewlett Packard Philippines where he assumed different positions before joining Dell in 2002. Papa holds a degree in Bachelor of Science major in Computer Engineering from AMA University.

With her vast experience in sales and marketing, Karen is a hands down choice to lead Dell Philippines Consumer Sales and Marketing. Prior to joining Dell, she served as Samsung Philippines Market Development Manager for I.T. and Head of Samsung Gadgets. Karen also work for ANZ (Australia and New Zealand) as marketing and merchandising manager. Karen studied Business Finance at the University of Western Sydney in Australia.

The announcement marks Dell Philippines readiness and commitment to provide even better focus and attention to Dell’s growing computer base.
