HP unveiled a full suite of ultra-low cost Ink Advantage printers that offers customers reduced printing costs of up to 50%. This new offering is in response to strong demand for the HP Ink Advantage System that provides customers with lower printer running costs and purchase price.

With the new HP Ink Advantage line-up, customers will now be able to:

— Enjoy up to 50% savings vs. other inkjets with cost-per-page from as low as PHP0.63 and ink cartridges starting at PhP390 each;

— Experience the same exceptional reliability for everyday printing with HP’s New Ink Advantage cartridges which uses the same dual-drop volume technology found in other Original HP inks;

— Purchase a new HP Ink Advantage printer from as low as PhP3,599

— Enjoy a greater choice of HP Ink Advantage offering, which will now include:

o The new HP Deskjet Ink Advantage 2010 Printer, which offers savings on printing costs with new ultra-low cost inks;

o The new HP Deskjet Ink Advantage 2060 All-in-One, which allows users to print, scan and copy everyday documents affordably;

o The new HP Photosmart Ink Advantage e-All-in-One, designed to suit frequent or moderate color photo printing at an affordable price and even without a PC;

o The new HP Officejet Advantage 4500 All-in-One, an affordable flatbed all-in-one that offers savings of up to 50% and features Ethernet connectivity for increased productivity at work or at home.

“Since we launched the HP Ink Advantage system for the small business segment last year, we have been receiving overwhelming response from home users”, said Erwin Creencia, Market Development Manager for Inkjet and Web Solutions, Imaging & Printing Group. “This shows that many home users are looking for great value printers with low running costs. Fuelled by this strong consumer demand, we decided to introduce a full line-up of Ink Advantage printers to offer home users greater choices.”

HP first launched the Ink Advantage printers in 2009 to offer small businesses a way to print affordably without compromising the quality and reliability of using original ink. However, a recent 3rd party survey commissioned by HP shows that over 70% of users who purchased Ink Advantage printers are home users.
