Globe Launches Enterprise Innovation Forum

Globe, a leading telecommunications company in the Philippines, is holding the first Enterprise Innovation Forum on November 10, 2010, Wednesday at Makati Shangri-La, Manila for executives, senior managers, industry leaders and key stakeholders in the Information and Communications Technology (ICT) industry. The forum, which brings together individuals engaged in ICT and set to decide on future ICT directions for their enterprises, is slated to discuss how the latest innovations have transformed businesses and improved the way things are done today.

Led by its Globe Business unit, the Enterprise Innovation Forum will focus on how innovation and technology synergize with business strategies to address customer needs and operational demands to lower costs, improve processes and increase productivity. It also aims to provide insights on how to future-proof enterprises and help them stay ahead of competition. It is the event for enterprises who want to be part of new and upcoming business innovations and technologies as they unfold globally.

The keynote speaker for the Enterprise Innovation Forum is Innosight Ventures Managing Director Scott D. Anthony, who has written three books on innovation, the latest being The Silver Lining: An Innovation Playbook for Uncertain Times. He has worked with Fortune 500 and start-up companies in industries such as media, consumer products, investment banking and software, among others. He is also a faculty member of the Leadership, Innovation and Growth Program at GE Crotonville, and a member of the Board of Director of Media General.

Also, the Enterprise Innovation Forum gathers members of the ICT industry and global companies in one event to share their knowledge and expertise as session speakers, fostering collaborative learning through various tracks: Mobility, connectivity, IT integration and security. There will also be discussions on industry perspectives and enterprise-class technologies. To highlight current and emerging solutions for the growing ICT needs of enterprise customers, Globe Business invited speakers from Avaya, Cisco, EMC, Fujitsu, Hitachi, IBM, MEF, Microsoft, NCS, Nokia, RIM, Riverbed, Sandz, Tata Communications, Tellabs and SingTel to give talks on different relevant topics that would help enterprises leverage innovation and technology to improve their market position. In addition, the Enterprise Innovation Forum’s whole-day exhibit gives participants the opportunity to discuss with Globe Business and exhibitors ways on how to work together to provide solutions to existing and future ICT challenges.
