HP Unveils Connected Business Computing Portfolio

HP unveils a lineup of business products and solutions that are transforming organizations by enabling users to connect to information and each other. The products were showcased as part of ‘Elevate 2011’ an event to launch HP’s 2011 line of simplified IT solutions and products.

“As the number one PC supplier in the world, HP offers solutions and products to meet the requirements of customers in nearly every industry,” said Alberto Mateo, Country General Manager, Personal Systems Group, HP Philippines. “So HP is there, no matter where your passion takes you.”

The new portfolio will help address the needs of Mobile Professionals, small to mid size businesses, environmentally conscious customers, educators, creative artists, health care providers and retailers.

One of the products launched is the HP Z-series Workstations that enables hand works and visual effects making more efficient.

Erik Khoo, Singaporean director and producer contacted Phil Mitchell of Infinite Frameworks Executive Creative Director, to help his animated movie come to life. Mitchell’s team of artists used the HPZ200 Workstations in drawing the anime portions of the film. Mitchell said “We did not need a render farm or the ancillary equipment for this project. Workstations also allowed artists to be productive.”

Also in the Philippines, ABS-CBN Corporation’s I-Post department uses HP-series workstations like HP Z800 and the HP Z400 Workstations and it allows them to leverage on superior performance and reliability that give them the strategic edge. ABS-CBN shows like Kokey uses HP Z-series workstations in making visual effects and animation.

The company’s innovation for small and medium businesses is its new FORGE (form, optimize, richness, guarded and enduring) design framework is featured in these notebooks:

HP’s Digital Learning Suite and educational solutions help both students and educators, with the HP MultiSeat t150 Thin Client, up to ten users can share the power of one PC.

In La Purisima Concepcion Academy in Malabon City, they employed the HP Multiseat Computing Solution. Combining affordability, energy-saving capabilities and software that enrich learning, the HP Multiseat Computing Solution, La Purisima Concepcion Academy is able to bring exceptional technology-enabled learning to every student.

HP also provides new technology designed to help retailers meet the needs of shoppers in multichannel retailing environments. The HP Imaging Bar Code Scanner features 1-D and 2-D Omni-directional barcode scanning and the ability to capture images.

The HP LD4201, HP LD4210 and HP LD4710 LCD Digital Signage displays are embedded with HP Media Sign Player technology, enabling plug-and-play convenience for dynamic digital advertising.

For mobile workers, the HP Elite L2201x 21.5 inch LED Backlit LCD Monitor, is an ideal monitor for them to connect and easily create a sleek desktop solution while capitalizing on the digital video bandwidth of the DisplayPort connectivity, helping to increase overall business productivity.
