A division of Toshiba Singapore Pte Ltd, Toshiba’s Singapore Computer System Division (CSD) launched its new high-performance TECRA R840 business notebook that redefines business mobility without compromising its reliability.

The TECRA R840 is the thinnest 14-inch TECRA laptop ever made. It is powered by the visibly smart 2nd generation Intel Core i3, i5, and i7 processors and high-speed 7200 RPM hard drives. It also features the AMD Radeon discrete graphics with 1GB of dedicated graphics for a more enhanced visual experience.

The thin and lightweight design of the TECRA R840 doesn’t compromise on durability. It is built suing a unique High Stiffness Resin reinforced casing with chassis pillars making it highly robust against flexing that in result, prolongs its lifetime.

Moreover, this notebook allows easier connection with a broad range of standard ports including high-speed USB 3.0 port, eSAT/USB Combo with Toshiba’s USB Sleep and Charge technology, DisplayPort or HDMI, Bluetooth 3.0, ExpressCard and Gigabit Ethernet.

“Our new business laptops provides professionals what they need and want, including the performance needed to handle demanding business tasks in lightweight and durable designs,” said Ms. Wong Wai Meng, Senior Manager of Product Marketing, Toshiba Singapore Pte Ltd. “We focused on delivering what our customers asked for by reducing weight, increasing battery life and without sacrificing performance,” she added.
