The GCASH that we knew is now taking a leap to provide services that compliments with the current trends and contemporary needs of the consumers. Globe Telecom through its wholly-owned subsidiary G-XCHANGE Inc. (GXI) is proud to announce the innovative GCASH application for iPhone, Android and BlackBerry devices… pay your bills or send money, conveniently while you are on-the-go.

The GCASH mobile app allows users to send money (through phone, email, and even Facebook), buy airtime load, pay bills (credit cards or electric bills), and top up e-Pass and Easy Trip. All of these can be done without the need to memorize keywords or any other access numbers. Users only need to enter their 4-digit Mobile Pin (MPIN), and that’s it, once they are logged in to the application, they can do all the transaction they want.

“Paying is almost always a chore. With the GCASH mobile app and the enjoyable experience it offers, our subscribers will feel good getting payments done using GCASH,” GXI President Paulo Baltao said. “Even non-smartphone users, they can dial *143# on their phones and select GCASH to enjoy the same experience,” he added.

The GCASH mobile app is available in supported version of the following operating systems: iPhone iOS version 4.3 or up, Android OS version 2.0 or up, and BlackBerry OS version 5.0 or up. Users just need to download the app from the Apple App Store, Google Play, and BlackBerry App World. Once it is installed, they just have to register their names to get their MPINs. That MPIN is the only numbers that they need to access the application.

From its birth in 2004, GCASH also develops as a form of payment in online shopping. Individual online sellers in Multiply, Sulit.com, and Ayos.ph and online shopping sites like CashCash Pinoy, Zalora, and Metrodeal are among the entities that have started offering GCASH as a payment option along with the other traditional forms of payment. The convenience of online shopping is now made more convenient with the use of a smartphone, and a GCASH mobile application.
