Fujifilm PH launches the newest X-series camera

Fujifilm Philippines Inc., the newest subsidiary of Fujifilm Corporation based in Tokyo, Japan, recently launched the newest X-series cameras in the domestic market. Fujifilm XE-1, premium interchangeable-lens camera with lens system, and Fujifilm XF-1 arrives in store by November this year.

Last year, four X-series premium digital cameras were launched by Fujifilm namely the Fujifilm X100, X10, X-S1 and the highly acclaimed X-Pro 1. These cameras changed the landscape of digital photography all over the world.

“Now it is truly fitting that Fujifilm brings to our shores these latest addition of X-series cameras- the XE-1 and XF-1,” said Fujifilm Philippines Inc. president Takashi Sasaki.

Aside from the X-series, Fujifilm will launch three additional categories- the super-zoom bridge cameras, All Terrain Cameras and Start-up cameras. “By having a wide product line-up we will be able to reach a wider market, which Fujifilm aims to tap,” said Sales and Marketing Head for Digital Cameras, Christian Jamolod.

“Fujifilm is aware of the needs to reinforce its sales, marketing and technical support activities to fully understand the demands of this fast-growing domestic market. And we decided to build a direct selling system by establishing Fujifilm Philippines Inc. to accelerate the business expansion,” added Takashi Sasaki.

Fujifilm Philippines Inc. is a newly incorporated company which started operation last September 20. It is dealing with the various products from imaging products such as digital cameras and photographic papers, to medical products and graphic products. Its head office is located at The Enterprise Center, Tower 2, 10th Floor Ayala Avenue, Makati City.

Fujifilm also boasts of a world-class service center located in their office which can cater to customer product concerns including repairs, warranties and software upgrades.
“We have an internationally trained technical expert who do repairs with a faster turn-around time versus our competitors,” stresses Fujifilm Philippines Inc. executive, Shuhei Wakimoto.
