The Technical Education and Skills Development Authority (TESDA) went live on mobile devices with the launch of the TESDA app, aimed to make information on technical vocational education and training easily accessible.

The TESDA app by Nueca Technologies will have information on the agency’s programs and services, as well as the training institutions with TESDA-approved courses offerings, their locations and contact details. It will also have the latest news about TESDA scholarships and other services.

“Being able to reach people to get information on technical vocational education and training wherever they are provides a whole new level of speed, efficiency and convenience to promoting TESDA services,” said Secretary Joel Villanueva, TESDA Director General. “With this innovation, TESDA is reinventing the Filipinos’ access to TVET and potential employment,” he added.

The free TESDA app is now available on Google Play Store for Android devices. The iOS version will be available on iTunes once Apple has approves the app.

The app is accessible even without Internet connection because the database has already downloaded on the phone. Users can search for the available courses and contact details of the schools. However, the News Feed and Map functions are only accessible with Internet connection.
