Nokia announces the availability of its latest affordable smartphone in the Philippines, the Nokia Asha 310. This is the first Nokia Asha smartphone with the powerful combination of Dual SIM and Wi-Fi support.
The Easy Swap Dual SIM allows users to switch between SIMs and take advantage of better tariffs and/or select the best SIM based on usage (voice, SMS or data). WiFi gives consumers the freedom to enjoy more mobile experiences while managing costs. Combined, they mean greater flexibility and control for cost-conscious, on-the-go consumers.
The Nokia Asha 310 comes pre-loaded with Nokia Xpress Browser, which delivers a fast and fluid browsing experience and support for thousands of web apps. Nokia Xpress Browser compresses Internet data by up to 90%, making Internet surfing smoother and more efficient. Efficient browsing helps people save money and enjoy more Internet on the same data bundle.
“Our smartphones don’t need to be seen as a cost in the short-term because of the long-term value that we provide. The inclusion of the Nokia Xpress Browser, YouTube video streaming, the gift pack of 40 free premium game titles, and Nokia Maps, all these are for the end-user and part of Nokia’s innovative and strategic approach in transitioning consumers from feature phones to next-generation smartphones,” says Karel Holub, General Manager of Nokia Philippines.
A smartphone experience isn’t complete without the preloaded Facebook and Twitter apps and the inclusion of eBuddy instant messaging for 24/7 chatting. More apps are available for free from the Nokia Store.
The newest addition to the Asha Touch family of smartphones, the Nokia Asha 310 features a 3” scratch-proof, capacitive touchscreen that complements the sophisticated design. It also features a 2 megapixel camera and comes with a free 4GB memory card, with support for a further 32GB of external memory.
Fun, fast and affordable, that’s the NokiaAsha 310 with a suggested retail price of PhP4,650. Choose from black, white and golden light and get it from Nokia Stores and authorized retail outlets starting this weekend.
