Premium local brand Starmobile makes a game-defining play with the much-anticipated unveiling of its latest phone and tablet line-up new devices carrying the trademark Starmobile build design and quality in its drive to lead innovation in the local mobile landscape.

The launch also coincides with the grand opening of Starmobile’s flagship store in Metro Manila. Located at the 4th Level of SM North Edsa Annex, the concept store serves as Starmobile’s main hub for experiential retail and customer support in the area.

Starmobile President Michael Chen shares: “At Starmobile, we believe in making great design and innovation available to everyone. Recently, Starmobile is happy to welcome you to its first concept store in Manila where we proudly showcase and offer the strongest line-up of mobile devices at the best value possible, as we bring the world of Android to more and more Filipinos.”

The product launch also sets the stage for Starmobile’s domination in the local tablet scene with the entry of four new Engage models built for performance and portability.

Starmobile introduces another first-to-market innovation with the Engage 7TV’s ALL TV access. A proprietary Starmobile feature first seen on the Engage 7TV, ALL TV™ allows users to watch television programs from three sources: analog, digital or streaming via WIFI.

The Analog TV feature provides users access to their favorite shows on free-to-air channels using the built-in antenna for optimal signal reception. The future-proof Engage 7TV also boasts off specs ahead of its time as it comes with ISDB-T Digital TV for clearer broadcasts of available local channels. On top of the analog and digital TV options, Streaming TV shows via Wi-Fi is also possible on the tablet. Available in a sleek brush metal finish, the Starmobile Engage 7TV is now available for only P5,290.

Starmobile also introduces Engage 7 3G, the company’s first Android Ice Cream Sandwich tablet with 3G capabilities for voice and video calls, SMS and data services for only P7,490. Designed for travel and mobility, the Engage 7 3G supports four different GSM frequency bands, making it convenient for use anywhere in the world where GSM service is available.

The new Engage 7 from Starmobile ranks as a top value tablet at P3,990 with streaming TV and the best dual camera combo (3-megapixel back and VGA front camera) in the entry-level category.

Starmobile also redefines form with the Engage 8, the first of its screen size (XGA screen with a 4:3 aspect ratio) in the local market built with Asahi Glass for maximum scratch resistance. With its 8-megapixel rear and 2-megapixel front cameras, the Engage 8 carries the highest resolution camera among all local brands plus it comes with Streaming TV via Wi-Fi.

Also, Starmobile introduces its latest and most dazzling phablet offerings to date–the Starmobile Diamond V3 and Diamond V7.

First in Starmobile’s new Diamond line is the Diamond V3, an Android 4.1 Jelly Bean phone that sports a 5.3-inch touchscreen with scratch resistant Dragontrail glass.

It packs a Qualcomm Snapdragon MSM8225Q chipset with a 1.2Ghz Quad Core processor which gives it enough power to breeze through multiple applications with ease.

The Starmobile Diamond V3 also has 12MP rear and 2MP front cameras that are equipped with Backside Illuminated (BSI) sensors for improved low light performance.

Completing the Diamond line is the V3’s powered up sibling, the Starmobile Diamond V7 which will be coming later in July.

Equipped with a 5.7-inch screen with scratch resistant Dragontrail glass, the Diamond V7 is ideal for Filipinos who want full functionalities of a dual SIM quad core Jelly Bean smartphone with an HD and Dragontrail screen.

Both the 18MP rear and 8MP front cameras are equipped with BSI sensors and auto focus for crystal clear photos, and its 2600mAh battery boasts of having the highest capacity out of all Dual SIM Quad Core phones in the market today.

Firmware Over-The-Air (FOTA), a feature which allows users to update their phones to the latest version of Android via Wi-Fi and without the need for a PC is also available for the Diamond V7.

The launch gets even more exciting with Starmobile’s very own Vice Ganda bringing in his own brand of wit and good vibes to the stellar event. Representing the Pinoy Dreamer who is at the heart of Starmobile’s promising success story, Vice Ganda shares the same passion with Starmobile in bringing happiness and positivity to the madlang people. His own personal favorite? The Starmobile Engage 7TV which keeps him updated on the latest buzz on television and online.
