Globe President and Chief Executive Officer Ernest Cu reiterated that the company maintains a formidable partnership with Apple, having had an exclusive partnership that began with the launch of the first iPhone in 2008. Its partnership with Apple has allowed Globe to offer best-value deals for the complete iPhone and iPad product suites.

A German security agency warned that a “critical weaknesses” in the Apple Inc. software could make users of iPhones, iPads and iPod touches open to theft of personal data.

The German Federal Office for Information Security said that simply by clicking on an infected PDF file while using Apple’s iOS operating system “is sufficient to infect the mobile device with malware without the user’s knowledge.”

Ex-Google China president Kai-Fu Lee predicted that the much anticipated Apple Table will be made available by January 26, 2010.

Lee added that the new device will cost under $1000 USD and will have 3D graphics. The Apple Tablet is rumored to be a a 10.1-inch multi-touch screen, support for e-books and videoconferencing, “3D graphics support” and a virtual keyboard like the one used on the iPhone/iPod Touch.

Lee also said the device will weigh half of what the MacBook Air weighs.
