Fruitas Group of Companies (FGC) is a food and beverage holding company that has done exceptionally well with its first fruit beverage stand, Fruitas Fresh from Babot’s Farm. Ten years later, it has developed several other store concepts and today runs 515 stores nationwide.

Building on its promise of serving only the freshest natural produce, FGC today also operates Fruitas, Buko ni Fruitas, Juice Avenue, Black Pearl, The Mango Farm, Buko Loco, and Friends Fries, among others. It employs around 1500 workers.

To deal with the growing reality of small companies having big data concerns, SAP announced a new offering that will deliver the benefits of the SAP HANA platform to small and medium enterprises (SMEs). The announcement was made coincidently with SAP’s SME Summit held at Edsa Shangri-la, Mandaluyong City.

One Analytics powered by SAP HANA will enable SMEs to leverage in-memory technology from SAP with immediate access to information tailored to their individual requirements. (more…)

SAP announced today the appointment of Darren Rushworth as their managing director (MD), effective March 27, this year. He will oversee the sales efforts and operations of SAP Philippines and the Emerging Markets that include Vietnam, Pakistan, Cambodia and Laos among others.

Rushworth has been in the information technology industry for over 25 years, the passed 16 based in Asia. He is experienced in doing business in the country and has been involved in initiatives such as sitting on the Philippine IT Advisory Board under former President Fidel Ramos, and promoting private-public partnerships through academic programs across the nation.

This resulted in delayed reports. In addition, we experienced difficulty in our inventory and financial management. SAP introduced two new leading-edge products and services at its SME Summit 2011. At this year’s edition of the biggest gathering of small and medium enterprises (SMEs) in the country, SAP unveiled its Subscription-based Hosting (SBH), SAP’s cloud computing technology, for it Business All-In-One and Business One, solutions for the medium and small enterprise respectively.
