The Consumer Product Safety Commission has announced several recalls of children’s toys and jewelry products manufactured in China because of excessive levels of lead.  More than 300,000 Chinese-made toys and nearly 22,000 pieces of children’s jewelry were recalled.

Those products are: Toby & Me Jewelry Sets imported by Toby N.Y.C.; Children’s Divine Inspiration charm bracelets imported by Buy-Rite Designs; Thomas and Friends, Curious George and other Spinning Tops and Tin Pails, imported by Schylling Associates Inc.; and SpongeBob SquarePants Address Books and Journals, imported by Martin Designs Inc.
